Stayed here for one night - only regret not staying longer! The rooms felt brand new and had a beautiful view overlooking the bay, and the common spaces were a great spot to relax. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive and made me feel right at home.
Wonderful boutique inn in a stunning location. Our room had a large picture window overlooking the beautiful bay. The team were so friendly and welcoming even though we arrived early. The rooms, lounge, dining room and bar were all modern and clean. Service was impeccable! Food was delicious. Lovely cocktails! Even bigger bonus was the added delight of little Berger! Gorgeous. My daughter and I loved him! Highly recommend this inn. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely visit again if we visit this area again. Thanks everyone! Brenda
What a gem of a property to have stayed at. We travelled at the beginning of August and this was our first night in Newfoundland. The views from the rooms and the lounge were spectacular. We had a drink in the lounge and took in the site. It was perfect, clean, cute, air conditioned and the owner was fantastic and had great advice. I cannot recommend this property enough. If we had know. It was going to be this cute we would have stayed a few nights. Thanks for a great start to our amazing 10 day trip.
If you're traveling to Newfoundland looking for spectacular scenery and friendly folks, then I would highly recommend staying at the Bonne Bay Inn. In an island already known for the friendliness of its residents, Darlene really stands out! She was so pleasant to chat with and thoughtful with the details of our stay, from offering a drink when we arrived after a long drive to leaving a few muffins out for us when we had to depart very early in the morning. The common area was an inviting place to hang out with some tables, games, binoculars, and enormous windows overlooking the bay. The rooms themselves were comfortable and were pleasing to come back to in the evening. The food at the restaurant was delicious and a nice amenity to have right on site, especially after a long day out hiking. Can't wait to return!
Lovely, quaint inn overlooking beautiful Bonne Bay. Very quiet, relaxing atmosphere with clean rooms, laundry available. Deck available to have a glass of wine watching the sunset. Complimentary breakfast was very good . Darlene and Bergy were always available and helpful. Highly recommend!
Fantastic stay at the Bonne Bay Inn. The room was really small, but very clean, equipped, and with an awesome view of the bay. Incredible customer service from the host. The restaurant was the best place we ate our entire trip in Newfoundland. The hot continental breakfast with fresh homemade partridgeberry jam and the guard dog Bergie made this place a solid 10/10.
A wonderful place to stay in Bonne Bay. Darlene the owner is a wonderful person, and all the staff are very helpful. We were travelling with an infant and Darlene was so kind and helped to make our stay comfortable. The on-site restaurant and pub are great, daily breakfast is a good start to the morning, and it is very close to Table Lands, Trout River, and other local attractions. Darlene, thank you so much!
We stayed here for one night during our late June trip around Newfoundland. The whole place looks brand new and was absolutely spotless. The staff, even the younger folks, were polite and knowledgeable. Darlene was particularly great and was an extremely pleasant person to interact with. The rooms were small, but clean and well appointed, as were all the shared areas of the building. Every room had a great view of the Bonne Bay. We wished we had allotted more time to stay in this area, as we would have loved to spend more time at the Bonne Bay Inn. We'll certainly be returning at some point to watch the hoppers in the bay when they're in season.
